THE PROJECT

When your motto is “Giving Life Colour” sky is never the limit!

It is a line you just need to cross, and that’s exactly what we did with Skyline Grey, the second 3-stage colour of the Basecoat Exclusives series.

Drawing inspiration from the thrilling energy of high-speed racing, embodied by the Mazda MX-5’s record-breaking Nürburgring lap, we created a colour that provides a unique effect of a sparkling grey base with vibrant and striking blue reflections. Applying it on the car was not just a task of precise repainting but a journey of change, adaptability and progress!

Skyline Grey showcases the pinnacle of our innovation and craftsmanship while praising inspiration for evolution and transformation.

Premiered at Automechanika Frankfurt 2024, it encapsulates the excitement of pushing boundaries and achieving greatness while highlighting the exceptional quality of our work and products.
